This solid oak floor is made up of boards that are 240mm in width and of various lengths. The boards are fixed at 600mm centres with screws that have been fixed through a pre-drilled hole and then covered with oak plugs. These plugs are then trimmed flush to the boards with a sharp chisel & sandpaper.
